LAByrinth Theater Company Releases Statement Following Death of Company Member Philip Seymour Hoffman

The troupe for which Hoffman formerly served as Artistic Director speaks out on his death.

Following the death of actor/director Philip Seymour Hoffman earlier today, the off-Broadway LAByrinth Theater Company has released a statement. Hoffman was a current company member of the troupe and had a long creative history with them.

“We are heartbroken by the loss of our beloved friend, Company Member, and former Artistic Director, Philip Seymour Hoffman. His contributions to the LAByrinth family as an artist and mentor are immeasurable. We join everyone in mourning the passing of one of the great lights of our generation.”
