Former E.R. star Yvette Freeman and Drama Desk Award nominee Lizan Mitchell will star in the revival of Having Our Say, to run September 11-October 11 at McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton, New Jersey.
Emily Mann, the theater’s artistic director, will helm the production of the play, which she adapted from Sarah L. Delany and A. Elizabeth Delany’s book. The work, which has been seen on Broadway and in a TV adaptation, focuses on the Delany sisters’ lives over the course of 100 years.
The creative team includes scenic designer Daniel Ostling, costume designer Karen Perry, lighting designer Stephen Strawbridge, projection designer Wendell Harrington, and composers and sound designers Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen.
