Stage and television star Jon Michael Hill has landed a recurring role on the new CBS series Elementary, according to TVLine.com.
The show, which is being billed as a modern version of the Sherlock Holmes story, will star Broadway veterans Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu. Hill will play a detective on the series.
Hill received a Theatre World Award and a Tony Award nomination for his work in Tracy Letts’ Superior Donuts, and originated the role at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. His television credits include Detroit 1-8-7, Eastbound & Down, and Person of Interest.
