That's So Raven's Anneliese van der Pol Joins the Cast of Heathers the Musical

Heathers The Musical, playing through November 8 New World Stages, announced casting updates for the production directed by Andy Fickman.

Joining the cast on September 9 are That’s So Raven‘s Anneliese van der Pol as Ms. Fleming/Veronica’s Mom, Descendants: The Rise of Red‘s Morgan Dudley as Heather Duke, and Nicholas A. Wilkinson as Kurt Kelly.

Also on September 9, Jimmy Ray Bennett, who currently plays Kurt’s Dad/Veronica’s Dad/Principal Gowan, will play Ram’s Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach Ripper, and original cast member Brian Martin will return to the company to play Kurt’s Dad/Veronica’s Dad/Principal Gowan.

Current cast members Jeannette Bayardelle (Ms. Fleming/Veronica’s Mom), Jackera Davis (Heather Duke), Cade Ostermeyer (Kurt Kelly), and Adam Bashian (Ram’s Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach Ripper) will all play their final performances on September 6.

Anneliese van der Pol will remain in the show through October 26, and then Kate Rockwell will return to the production to play Ms. Fleming/Veronica’s Mom for the final week of the run, October 29-November 8.

Heathers also currently stars Isabella Esler as Veronica Sawyer, John Cardoza as Jason “J.D.” Dean, Zan Berube as Heather Chandler, Ava DeMary as Heather McNamara, Aniya Thompson as Martha Dunnstock, and Chris Marsh Clark as Ram Sweeney.
