NBC has given a series order to Do No Harm, a medical drama starring stage veteran Steven Pasquale.

The project, written by David Schulner, centers on Jeffrey Kohn (to be played by Pasquale), a brilliant neurosurgeon with a dangerous alter-ego.

As previously reported, Broadway veterans Phylicia Rashad and Michael Esper were part of the pilot’s cast, along with Alana De La Garza, Mousa Kraish, and Ruta Gedmintas.

Pasquale’s many theater credits include <>Reasons to Be Pretty. The Intelligent Homosexual’s Guide to Capitalism and Socialism With a Key to the Scriptures, and A Man of No Importance. He starred on FX’s hit series Rescue Me and will be seen in the upcoming miniseries Coma.
