
Mark Ravenhill will join the Royal Shakespeare Company next year as its latest Writer in Residence, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com.
The residency will consist of a 12-month contract beginning in January 2012.
Ravenhill’s plays include Shopping and Fucking, Faust is Dead, Handbag, Some Explicit Polaroids, and Mother Clap’s Molly House as well as an adaptation of Terry Pratchett’s Nation and A Life in Three Acts, which he co-created with Bette Bourne.
