According to published reports, Leslie Odom Jr. is set to star in an ABC comedy series co-executive produced by Kerry Washington. Based on the experience of real-life pastors Touré Roberts and Sarah Jakes-Roberts, the untitled series will focus on Leslie (Odom Jr.) and Hope, joint pastors in Los Angeles who have more trouble uniting people in their blended family than they do uniting people across different races, genders, and orientations in their congregation.

Saladin Patterson (The Last O.G., The Big Bang Theory) will write and executive-produce, with Odom Jr., Pilar Savone, and Roberts and Jakes-Roberts also executive-producing along with Washington. ABC Studios will produce.

Odom Jr. is best known for his breakout role as Aaron Burr in Hamilton. Kerry Washington, previously known for starring in shows like Scandal and films like Django Unchained, is currently starring in American Son on Broadway.
