Disruption, a new play by Andrew Stein and directed by Hersh Ellis, will have its New York premiere at the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Center, July 22-September 13, with an opening night set for August 2.

In this thriller, tech entrepreneur Nick thinks he knows what will make people happy. After tremendous Silicon Valley success and a big exit, Nick presents his three best friends with an algorithm that is more complex than the human brain and promises to guide them through big life decisions better and more effectively than they can guide themselves.

The cast includes Jason Ralph, Tony Award nominee Conrad Ricamora, Jasmine Sharma, Tony Award nominee Elizabeth Stanley, Joe Tippett, Golden Globe Award nominee John David Washington, and Shaunette Renée Wilson. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

The production will feature scenic and costume design by Zoë Hurwitz, lighting design by Reza Behjat, sound design by Caroline Eng, video design by Yana Biryükova, and movement direction by Ryan VanDenBoom.
