Selections have been announced for the 2012 All For One Theater Festival, to run September 14-30 at the Cherry Lane Theatre.
The festival’s highlight will be public presentations of 10 solo shows, performed by their authors: Jennifer S. Jones’ Appearance of Life, directed by Jessica Lefkow; Joanna Rush’s Asking for It, directed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett; Aizzah Fatima’s Dirty Paki Lingerie, directed by Eliza Gould; Leslie Jordan’s Fruit Fly, directed by David Galligan; Carlo D’Amore’s No Parole, directed by Colman Domingo; Elizabeth Van Meter’s The Purpose Project: Thao’s Library; Cindy Cheung’s Speak Up Connie, directed by BD Wong; Alice Eve Cohen’s What I Thought I Knew, directed by Elizabeth Magrid; Debra Barsha’s A Womb With a View, directed by Frank Ventura; and Mary Lou Shriber’s You Want Me to Do What?, directed by Joe Ricci.
The festival will also include talkbacks, workshops, panel discussions, mentoring program for high school students, and a special salon featuring excerpts of new works.
Additional participants will include Gretchen Cryer, Matt Hoverman, Deb Margolin, and Nilaja Sun.
