Jake Shears, Kevin McHale, and Lorna Courtney Will Join Rocky Horror Company

Jake Shears, Lorna Courtney, and Kevin McHale will be the next Frank, Janet, and Brad in The Rocky Horror Show at Studio 54.

The current stars, Luke Evans, Stephanie Hsu, and Andrew Durand complete their runs on Sunday, August 23. Courtney and McHale join the company on August 25; Shears takes the stage September 11.

In the interim, Paul Soileau will play Frank from August 25-September 10, as well as on July 26, and August 2, 9, 16, and 18.

Richard O’Brien’s cult classic musical about a white-bread couple whose car breaks down in a storm, forcing them to seek refuge in a dark castle occupied by a horny mad scientist and his alien servants, The Rocky Horror Show exemplifies the unbridled sexuality of the 1970s.

 TheaterMania’s review describes this revival production from Roundabout Theatre Company and director Sam Pinkleton as “delightfully low-tech.” Tickets are on sale through November 29.
