Northwestern University sophomore and regular TheaterMania U blogger Catherine Reid has won the TMU Best Blogger Award for the second semester in a row. The award, which comes with a $100 cash prize for the summer semester, is given to the student contributor who generates the most readership to their blog posts during that time.
At Northwestern, where she studies in the Medill School of Journalism, Reid is pursuing a major in journalism and a minor in theater.
The summer semester marked Reid’s final semester with TMU. “Writing for TheaterMania has been great because I’ve been able to combine my two greatest loves: journalism and theater. I try to write about things I’m really passionate about, and I think that passion must have been shining through in my writing,” said Catherine.
