To celebrate the release of the new musical film La La Land, Tony-nominated songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, as well as producer Marc Platt, will take part in four special question-and-answer sessions in New York City this weekend.
The free conversations are open to the general public and all ticket holders for each showing of the film. On December 9, the Q&A sessions will take place at the Regal Union Square (850 Broadway) at 9:20pm and 10:20pm following 7pm and 8pm showings, respectively. On December 10, the Q&As will be held at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square (1998 Broadway) at the same times.
The musical movie features lyrics of Broadway's Pasek and Paul — whose Dear Evan Hansen opened at the Belasco Theatre on December 4 — and music by Justin Hurwitz. Written and directed by Damian Chazelle, and starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, La La Land, about the romance between a jazz pianist and an aspiring actress, will hit theaters officially on December 16.
