Shakespeare's Globe's Tony-nominated production of Twelfth Night, starring Mark Rylance in his Tony-winning performance as Olivia, hits movie theaters today, September 16, as part of the company's Globe on Screen initiative.

Directed by Tim Carroll, the cast is also led by Stephen Fry and Paul Chahidi in their Tony-nominated performances as Malvolio and Maria, Johnny Flynn as Viola, Samuel Barnett as Sebastian, Liam Brennan, John Paul Connolly, Ian Drysdale, James Garnon, Peter Hamilton Dyer, Colin Hurley, Roger Lloyd Pack, Jethro Skinner, and Ben Thompson. The production features a set and Tony-winning costumes by Jenny Tiramani and music by Claire van Kampen.

This all-male, Original Practices revival originated in 2002 and was revived and filmed in 2012 at Shakespeare's Globe. It transferred that year to the Apollo Theatre on London's West End, where it ran in repertory with Richard III. The Broadway transfer of the two productions took place in 2013.
