Acclaimed storyteller Mike Daisey will bring his new solo show, The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs, to Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, March 21-April 10. Jean-Michele Gregory will direct.

In the piece, Daisey illuminates the war — from China to Silicon Valley — over how we see our world, and the human price we pay for our high-tech toys. The production will feature scenic and lighting design by Seth Reiser.

Daisey has previously performed his monologues If You See Something Say Something, The Last Cargo Cult, and How Theater Failed America at Woolly Mammoth, with other shows including 21 Dog Years, Invincible Summer, I Miss the Cold War, and Great Men of Genius.
