Tony winner Linda Lavin returns to Broadway tonight in Manhattan Theater Club's Broadway premiere of Richard Greenberg's Our Mother’s Brief Affair at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. In the play, Lavin takes on the role of Anna, a family matriarch perennially on the verge of death, who makes a shocking confession to her grown children: an affair from her past that just might have resonance beyond the family.

Lavin is joined in the cast by Kate Arrington (Grace), Greg Keller (Of Good Stock), and John Procaccino (Incident at Vichy).

See Lavin in this new production, directed by Manhattan Theater Club artistic director Lynne Meadow, in the footage below.
