US Premiere of Nobody's Girl to Play New Jersey Repertory Company

Australian playwright Rick Viede brings his new comedy to the Garden State.

New Jersey Repertory Company in Long Branch, New Jersey, will present the U.S. premiere of Nobody's Girl, written by by Australian Playwright Rick Viede. Performances begin August 20 in advance of an August 22 opening and will run through September 20.

Nobody's Girl is described as follows: "Is there anything more scandalous than a juicy tell-all memoir? Viciously funny, Nobody’s Girl features a potpourri of outrageous characters who wheel and deal in a high stakes game for glory. It is an unforgiving, hilarious satire of today’s frenzied media and those who will do anything to be on top."

Directed by Erica Gould, the cast features Gregory Haney (The Jim Gaffigan Show), Judith Hawking (Voices in the Dark), Layla Khoshnoudi (Men on Boats), and Jacob A. Ware (Boardwalk Empire).

The creative team includes Jessica Parks (set design and props), Brian Snyder (technical director,) Jill Nagle (lighting design), Merek Royce Press (sound design), and Patricia Doherty (costume design).
