The Band's Visit, Harry Potter, Glenda Jackson Win 2018 Drama League Awards

The Drama League announced its 2018 award recipients at a ceremony on Friday, May 18, at the Marriott Marquis Times Square.

Winners are as follows:

Glenda Jackson, Three Tall Women

The 2018 Special Recognition Award Recipients are Tony Award winner Idina Menzel, who received the Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theater Award; director Casey Nicholaw, currently represented on Broadway with Mean Girls, Aladdin, and The Book of Mormon, who received the Founders Award for Excellence in Directing; and the National Endowment for the Arts (represented by Chairman Jane Chu), which received the Unique Contribution to the Theater Award.
