A technical problem with the set of the Broadway production of Ghost the Musical, now in previews, at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, halted the show for approximately 20 minutes during the Thursday, April 19 performance.

The mishap occurred around 10:05pm and the show later resumed without incident. No similar problems were reported during earlier performances; the show began its New York run on March 15.

The musical — based on the film on the same about a dead man who tries to save his girlfriend from danger — features music and lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, and book and lyrics by Bruce Joel Rubin, who won an Academy Award for his screenplay for the film. It is directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus, and is designed by Rob Howell.

The cast is led by
Caissie Levy (Molly), Richard Fleeshman (Sam), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (Oda Mae), and Bryce Pinkham (Karl).
