The season will include Phyl by Cecily Hamilton and The Fanatics by Miles Malleson.

Mint Theater Company, dedicated to the rediscovery of lost and neglected plays, will explore the rarely spoken-of themes of sex, love, and the complexities of relationships in its upcoming season, with two plays filled with frank and provocative conversations.
The season, dedicated to the memory of a longtime press agent David Gersten, will include Phyl by Cecily Hamilton, directed by Britt Berke, and The Fanatics by Miles Malleson, directed by Davis McCallum. Both plays will be performed at Theatre Row.
Phyl, running October 3-November 7, follows Phyllis Chester, a governess trapped in a solitary existence, walled off from the life she craves, until a moment of lost temper leads her to risk everything.
The Fanatics, running February 13, 2027-March 20, 2027, is about John Freeman and his sister Gwen, who, both disillusioned by the Great War, attempt to forge lives based on radical new ideas about love, sex, and marriage while still living under their parents’ roof.
