PHOTO FLASH: Stephen Belber, Bobby Cannavale, et al. at Opening of Tape

Knife Edge Productions, in association with Swinestars Productions, celebrated the opening of its revival of Stephen Belber’s play, Tape on Tuesday, September 13. Sam Helfrich has directed the production, which performs at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex through September 24.

Among the opening night guests were Belber himself, along with stage and screen star Bobby Cannavale, and Tony-nominated playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis.

Tape tells the story of high school friends who meet up 10 years later and wrestle with questions of motive, memory, truth and perception.

The cast includes Don DiPaolo, Neil Holland, and Therese Plaehn. The design team consists of Laura Jellinek (set design), Kate Ashton (lighting design), and Nancy Leary (costume design).
