Christopher Tierney, one of the actors who performs as the title character in Broadway’s Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, posed with a group of young audience members dressed in Spider-Man costumes as part of a special Halloween event at the Foxwoods Theatre on Wednesday, October 26.
The musical is inspired by over 40 years of Marvel comic books. It follows the story of teenager Peter Parker, whose unremarkable life is turned upside-down when he’s bitten by a genetically altered spider and must learn that with great powers comes great responsibility.
The production features creative consultation by Philip William McKinley, original direction by Julie Taymor, music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, and book co-written by Taymor, Glen Berger, and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
