Joey Arias and Basil Twist's Arias With a Twist Will Return to HERE

Tandem Otter Productions will present the return of the 2008 show Arias With a Twist, created and performed by performance artist Joey Arias with puppeteer Basil Twist.

The 2009 Drama Desk Award nominee for Unique Theatrical Experience and GLAAD Media Award winner for Outstanding Off-Off-Broadway Production will run September 17-November 1 at the Dorothy B Williams Theatre at HERE Arts Center.

Part cabaret, part fever dream, and part visual spectacle, this theatrical experience is a fusion of cabaret, puppetry, spectacle, and performance art. Nearly two decades after its world premiere, the production returns to the theater where it all began.

The cast will include puppeteers Jessica Scott, Matthew Leabo, Ash Winkfield, Maria Camia, Ben Elling, and Rosa Elling. Directed by Twist, the prooduction includes vision and music by Arias, production, set, and puppetry design by Twist, lighting design by Ayumu Saegusa, sound design by Greg Duffin, projections design by Daniel Brodie, musical arrangements by Eliot Douglass and Jean Houle Francoise, and original songs by Alex Gifford.
