Leading the cast are Heath Saunders (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812) as Jesus, Ryan Shaw (I Know I've Been Changed) as Judas, and Jo Lampert (Joan of Arc: Into the Fire) as Mary Magdalene. Also featured in the cast are Michael Cunio (Pilate), Mykal Kilgore (Simon Zealotes), Shaun Fleming (Herod), Joseph Anthony Byrd (Annas), Cavin Cornwall (Caiaphas), and Andrew Mueller (Peter).

Directed by Timothy Sheader and choreographed by Drew McOnie, the production will have set and costume design by Tom Scutt, lighting by Lee Curran, and music supervision by Tom Deering.

Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas. Reflecting the rock roots that defined a generation, the legendary score includes "I Don't Know How to Love Him," "Gethsemane," and "Superstar." A recent live television concert production starred John Legend. This iteration of Jesus Christ Superstar won the 2017 Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival and sold out consecutive engagements in 2016 and 2017.
