Stage and screen star Jennifer Garner will play amateur sleuth Miss Marple in a new Disney film, based on the novels by mystery writer Agatha Christie, aaccording to EW.com.
In the film, to be written by Mark Frost, Miss Marple will be considerably younger than was written by Christie and portrayed by numerous other stage and screen actresses.
Garner starred on Broadway in the 2007 revival of Cyrano de Bergerac. She will be seen on the big screen next month in the remake of Arthur and is well known for her work on the TV series Alias.
