The 2019 Drama League Awards were held on Friday, May 17, at the Marriott Marquis Times Square. The annual awards were hosted by Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus stars Kristine Nielsen and Julie White. Check out TheaterMania's photos in the gallery below.

Kelli O'Hara, currently starring in Kiss Me, Kate, received the Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theater Award. Timbers, director of Beetlejuice and Moulin Rouge! The Musical, got the Founders Award for Excellence in Directing. Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus playwright Taylor Mac received the Unique Contribution to the Theater Award.

These honors are in addition to the five competitive Drama League Awards: Outstanding Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the Distinguished Performance Award.
