Stage and screen star Jane Lynch has married her long-time girlfriend, Lara Embry, according to published reports. The ceremony took place at the Blue Heron Restaurant in Sunderland, Massachusetts on Monday.
Lynch, a longtime gay rights activist, recently received a Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of Sue Sylvester on FOX’s Glee. Among her other film and television credits are Julie & Julia, Post Grad, Desperate Housewives, and Weeds.
On stage, she was seen in The Real Live Brady Bunch and The Real Live Game Show (both in New York and Los Angeles), and recently, she was featured in the Off-Broadway production of Nora and Delia Ephron’s Love, Loss, and What I Wore.
