Gypsy, the classic musical based on the life of burlesque performer Gypsy Rose Lee and her overbearing stage mother, Rose, is now playing at Arlington, Virginia's Signature Theatre.

With music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and a book by Arthur Laurents, Gypsy features some of the most beloved tunes in Broadway history, including "Everything's Coming Up Roses," "Together (Wherever We Go)," and "Let Me Entertain You."

Signature Artistic Associate Joe Calarco helms the production, which stars Sherri L. Edelen (The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas) as the iconic Momma Rose, and Maria Rizzo as the modest Louise-turned-strip-tease-savant Gypsy Rose Lee.

Performances will run through January 26 at Signature's MAX Theatre.
