Full casting has been announced for Compose Yourself and The Lady in Penthouse B, part of the York Theatre Company’s NEW2NY, a new series of three semi-staged concert musicals. The performances, which will take place at the company’s home at the Theatre at St. Peters, will be directed by Stuart Ross with musical direction by David Synder. Grosssman will play the piano.

As previously announced, Nikki Renee Daniels, Darius de Haas, Jason Graae, Liz Larsen, Lorna Luft, and Howard McGillin will star in Compose Yourself, a revue of songs by composer Larry Grossman, written with such lyricists as Adolph Green and Betty Comden, Carol Hall, Fred Ebb, Michael Korie, and Amanda Green, to be presented July 11-13.

Up next, July 25-27, will be Matthew Ward and Peter Napolitano’s The Lady in Penthouse B, about a good-natured struggling actress who is forced to work for an egotistical female gossip columnist. Tony nominee Nancy Dussault will star as the title character, along with Stephen Bienskie, Michael Cone, Gordon Stanley, JD Webster, and Sally Wilfert.

The series will conclude, August 8-10, with Kristen Anderson-Lopez, James-Allen Ford, Russell M. Kaplan, and Sara Wordsworth’s In Transit, an a cappella musical focusing on the loves of random New Yorkers, that will be seen in July at the Eugene O’Neill Center in Waterford, Connecticut.

Tickets to each show will be $35. For more information, call 212-935-5820 or visit www.yorktheatre.org.
