Casting has been announced for CrazySexyCool – The TLC Musical at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. CrazySexyCool will run June 12–August 9, with an opening night on June 26, in Arena Stage’s Kreeger Theater.

The cast features Holli’ Gabrielle Conway as Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Jade Milan as Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Stoney B. Woods as Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas. Felicia Curry, a 2026 Obie Citation recipient and the Emmy-nominated host of WETA Arts, plays Dr. Nzinga / Christina. Kennedy Holmes, a finalist on The Voice, joins the ensemble and will understudy the roles of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas.

Written and directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah and choreographed by Chloe O. Davis, CrazySexyCool – The TLC Musical explores the legacy of the group TLC and includes the hit songs “Waterfalls,” “No Scrubs,” “Creep,” and “Unpretty.”

UPDATE: Joining the cast are Bryan Archibald, Trenton McKenzie Beavers, Aaron Bliden, Josh A. Dawson, Nichole Forde, Deon’te Goodman, Ciara Alyse Harris, Bethany Hemmans, Justin Raynard Hicks, Lindsey Jolyn Jackson, Malik Kitchen, Darius Jordan Lee, Madison McBride, Kalen Robinson, Mikari Tarpley, and Christopher Henry Young.

The production features music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Tony Award nominee David Holcenberg, music direction and associate music supervision by Jaret Landon, and vocal arrangements by Holcenberg and Landon. Joining the design team are three-time Tony-winning set designer David Zinn, Tony-winning costume designer Dede Ayite, five-time Tony-nominated lighting designer Japhy Weideman, Tony-winning sound designer Gareth Owen, five-time Tony-nominated projection designer Peter Nigrini, and Tony-winning hair and wig designer Nikiya Mathis. Dramaturgy is by Hana S. Sharif.
