The Tony Award-winning musical is currently celebrating its 10th year on Broadway.
The Broadway musical Jersey Boys has announced that, beginning August 14, a limited number of tickets per performance will be sold to winners of a digital lottery drawing. Tickets are $27 and limited to two per person. Entrants will be notified of their status three hours before show time, and tickets must be claimed and paid for at the August Wilson Theatre box office.
In addition, Jersey Boys will continue to offer a limited number of general student rush tickets sold at the box office beginning at 10am for that day’s performance. Student rush tickets are also $27. Subject to availability, they are limited to two per person per 30-day period.
Jersey Boys, which won a Tony in 2006, is now in its 10th year on Broadway. Written by Marshall Brickman (The Addams Family) and Rick Elice (Peter and the Starcatcher), the musical follows the rise of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, the popular 1960s pop/rock quartet made famous by hit songs such as "Sherry," "Walk Like a Man," and "Big Girls Don't Cry." Jersey Boys also features music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and direction by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff with choreography by Sergio Trujillo.
