Stage star Brian J. Smith will join the cast of the hit CW series Gossip Girl next season in the role of Max, according to published reports.
Smith appeared in Manhattan Theatre Club’s production of Come Back Little Sheba, and his many Off-Broadway credits include Little Black Dress, Three Changes, Good Boys and True, and Kindness.
His film and television credits include Stargate Universe, Red Hook, and Law & Order.
Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meeister, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley, Kelly Rutherford, Matthew Settle, and Margaret Colin.
