Bainbridge Performing Arts has removed Hairspray from its spring 2012 schedule. In its stead, BPA will be presenting The Full Monty, May 10-27.
In this musical, adapted from the hit film by Terrence McNally and David Yazbek, unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, New York come up with a bold way to make some quick cash. In the process they find renewed self-esteem, the importance of friendship and the ability to have fun.
The Full Monty will feature direction by Ken Michels, musical direction by Shannon Dowling and choreography by Joanna Hardie.
