Sierra Boggess will hear the music of the night once more when she joins the Broadway production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera in time for its landmark 25th Anniversary, playing the role of Christine Daae beginning January 21, 2013.

Boggess’ illustrious history with the musical began when she originated the role of Christine in the revised 2006 Las Vegas staging. She subsequently played the role in the London production’s 25th Anniversary Royal Albert Hall concert and originated Christine once again in the London premiere of Love Never Dies, Lloyd Webber’s Phantom sequel. Her credits also include The Little Mermaid and Master Class, as well as the London’s Les Miserables, in which she currently appears.

Broadway’s Phantom will mark its 25th Anniversary on Saturday, January 26 with a special gala performance at the Majestic Theatre.

It is directed by Harold Prince, choreographed by Gillian Lynne, and features production design by the late Maria Bjornson, lighting by Andrew Bridge, and sound by Martin Levan.
