WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical!

This megamusical classic is the longest-running musical in Broadway history. Indeed, it is entirely likely that there are cast members currently in the show that were born after Phantom's opening night on Broadway over two decades ago. Based on Gaston Leroux's 1909 novel, Phantom centers on the hideously deformed "Phantom" who lurks beneath the Paris Opera and the object of his obsession, the young soprano Christine, whom he is determined to make a star thereby winning her affections. With a timeless score and a design that reinvented the stage spectacular forever, Phantom is a must-see on Broadway.

Children ages 4 and under are not permitted in the theater.

WHAT ARE CRITICS SAYING?

Howard McGillin has just taken over the title role in The Phantom of the Opera, and he's a revelation. Not at all the mesmerizing seducer that Michael Crawford and others have portrayed, Mr. McGillin's Phantom is a genuine lost soul, far closer to the passionate and mad monster of the classic Lon Chaney film. It's a brilliant performance, and it provides the vivid, dangerous center that this lush romantic musical adventure requires. I've never enjoyed Phantom more.

As you probably know, The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of Christine Daae, a young and inexperienced member of the Paris Opera company, and her capture by the mad, lonely, disfigured Phantom who haunts the Opera House. T[...]

Phantom of the Opera
I have seen this play numerous times and I still love it the most. You must see Phantom. It is the longest running play on Bway...You will not be disappointed.

It's Phantom
The Staging is good, the performers are great and of course everyone knows the music. If you dont, well listen to Puccini. Its a well known show with a storyline that is based on the Gaston Leroux book with some plot tweaks here and there. If youve never seen it, you must go. You will enjoy it. If you have a chance to see it again, do it. Then go see something else.
