Rubble, a comedy by Emmy Award winner Mike Reiss, will receive an industry reading on March 26 and 27, presented by James Valletti, Stephenie Skyllas, and Hunter Chancellor. The play made its New York premiere at the 2013 New York International Fringe Festival.

Directed by Valletti, Rubble tells the story of a down-on-his-luck comedy writer who gets buried in a pile of rubble when an earthquake hits Los Angeles during his pitch meeting for a new television series.

The company will be led by six-time Emmy Award winner Bruce Vilanch, who originated his role during the Fringe run. He is joined by Jerry Adler (Fish in the Dark), Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages), Amy Wilson (The Last Night of Ballyhoo), Jason Jacoby (Avenue Q), and Jeff Still (Fish in the Dark). The reading will feature incidental music by Christopher Howatt.

Reiss received four Emmy Awards for his work on TV's The Simpsons. He is also the cocreator of the series The Critic and worked on the screenplays for the films Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, The Simpsons Movie, and My Life in Ruins.
