Broadway Alum Rachel Potter to Debut Country Trio Steel Union

Potter launched her country career with a spot as a finalist on ”The X Factor”.

Broadway and X Factor veteran Rachel Potter returns to New York City on Monday, February 22, to debut her new country music trio Steel Union at Rockwood Music Hall. The group's performance slot is set for 6pm on Rockwood Stage 2.

Donny Fallgatter and Josh Matheny join Potter in the group, which earned the musicians a spot as finalists in the Nash Next’s Country Superstar Competition. Steel Union also performed during Nashville’s CMA Week festivities and opened for Blues Traveler in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

On Broadway, Potter is best known for her performances as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and as The Mistress in the 2012 revival of Evita. She also covered the role of Glinda in the second national tour of Wicked. In 2013, she became a Top 12 finalist on season 3 of the American edition of The X Factor, after which, she released her first full-length country album Not So Black and White.
