Synopsis

Winner of three 2004 Tony Awards!

Stephen Schwartz's new musical Wicked tells the story of two girls in the Land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery, and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious, and very popular. Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, the spellbinding musical takes a look at how these unlikely friends end up as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch. Joe Mantello directs. Winner of 2004 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical.

Review: Ok show. by Claude

I find the show great for the eye but thats it. Worth the money for the costume of course, the cost of the costume is 2.5 millions $ and for the set. But for the music and the lyrics, I didnt have any song in my head when I left. "Wicked" est un spectacle formidable pour les yeux, sans plus. Je suis sorti à la fin du spectacle et javais déjà oublié le spectacle.

Review: An Unforgettable show by Wicked29

This show is one that everyone should see at least once. The story is interesting being it focuses on the relationship that grows between Glinda the Good Witch and Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West. The music is amazing and the songs are memorable. They will make you laugh and cry. After the ending of the first act your jaw will drop to the floor. When it is over you will want to see it again. This show definitely lives up to the hype and is a definite must see.

Review: Wicked Review by wmarin

I dont see that many shows but Wicked seemed to be one of the better shows. Easy to follow and great costumes. My only negative comment about the show was the the way show ended. I thought the show was building toward a tremendous ending and I was let down. The ending of the frist act was the type of finale I was looking for.

Review: This show has it all! by sbower33

Great story...it draws on your knowledge of "The Wizard of Oz" and challenges your suppostions. Hard hitting social commentary in a surreal environment. Excellent book and music. Performances are top notch. You will laugh, cry and have an outstanding time!
