Lynn Cohen, Michael Countryman, and Celia Keenan-Bolger will join the previously announced star Sandy Duncan in the world premiere of Joe DiPietro’s Creating Claire, to run May 11 – June 6 at George Street Playhouse. David Saint will direct the production.

The play focuses on a docent at a natural history museum (Duncan) who finds herself embroiled in controversy when her tour guide patter deviates from the strict scientific beliefs of her supervisor.

Cohen recently starred Off-Broadway in Chasing Manet, and is perhaps best known as Magda, Miranda’s housekeeper/nanny on both the Sex and the City series and films. Countryman has numerous Broadway credits to his name, and appeared earlier this season Off-Broadway in Equivocation. Keenan-Bolger received a Drama Desk Award and a Tony nomination for her work in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Duncan received Tony Award nominations for her roles in The Boyfriend, Canterbury Tales, and Peter Pan. She also appeared on Broadway in Love Is a Time of Day, My One and Only, and Chicago, and last year, she starred in the City Center Encores! production of No, No, Nanette.
