Royal Court’s Jerusalem With Mark Rylance to Begin West End Run in January

Jez Butterworth’s acclaimed play Jerusalem, which was seen earlier this summer at the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs, will transfer to the West End’s Apollo Theatre, January 28-April 24.

The cast will be headed by Tony Award winner Mark Rylance and former Seagull star Mackenzie Crook, along with Tom Brooke, Greg Burridge, Lewis Coppen, Alan David, Aimeé-Ffion Edwards, Lenny Harvey, Gerard Horan, Danny Kirrane, Charlotte Mills, Lucy Montgomery, Sarah Moyle, Dan Poole, Harvey Robinson, and Barry Sloane.

It will be directed by Ian Rickson, designed by Ultz, with sound by Ian Dickinson and music by Stephen Warbeck.

Butterworth’s other plays include The Winterling, The Night Heron. and Mojo.
