Jessie Mueller, James Rank, Rod Thomas, et al. Set for Writers’ Theatre’s She Loves Me

Writers’ Theatre has announced casting for She Loves Me, to run September 14 – November 21. Michael Halberstam will direct the production, which will feature choreography by associate director Jessica Redish and musical direction by Ben Johnson.

With a book byJoe Masteroff, music by Jerry Bock, and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, the musical will feature Bernard Balbot (Arpad), Kevin Gudahl (Ladislay Sipos), Heidi Kettenring (Ilona Ritter), Ross Lehman (Mr. Maraczek), Jessie Mueller (Amalia Balash), James Rank (Steven Kodaly), and Rod Thomas (Georg Nowack), along with Andrew Goetten, Stephanie Herman, Jeremy Rill, Nicky Schuenke, and Bethany Thomas.

The creative team will include Jack Magaw (scenic design), Keith Parham (lighting design), Nan Zabriskie (costume design), and Keith Parham (lighting design). Alan Schmuckler will provide orchestral reductions and Maria Honigschnabel will serve as assistant musical director.
