Under the direction of Bartlett Sher, the production opens April 13.
Lincoln Center Theater's production of J.T. Rogers' Oslo is currently running at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Tony winner Bartlett Sher (Fiddler on the Roof) directs the production, set to open April 13.
Described as a darkly comic epic, Oslo tells the story of how Norwegian diplomat Mona Juul and her husband, social scientist Terje Rød-Larsen, planned and orchestrated top-secret, high-level meetings between the State of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization, which culminated in the signing of the historic 1993 Oslo Accords.
Oslo comes to Broadway after an off-Broadway run at Lincoln Center Theatre's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. The Broadway mounting features the production's original cast: Michael Aronov, Anthony Azizi, Adam Dannheisser, Jennifer Ehle, Daniel Jenkins, Dariush Kashani, Jeb Kreager, Jefferson Mays, Christopher McHale, Daniel Oreskes, Angela Pierce, Henny Russell, Joseph Siravo, and T. Ryder Smith.
The creative team includes Michael Yeargan (set design), Catherine Zuber (costume design), Donald Holder (lighting design), and Peter John Still (sound design). Projections are by 59 Productions.
