The Today Show's Al Roker and Natalie Morales Join Broadway's Aladdin

The pair take on guest-star roles in the Disney musical comedy.

The Today Show anchors Al Roker and Natalie Morales got into the action of Broadway's Aladdin on March 3. The pair joined stars Adam Jacobs and James Monroe Iglehart for cameo appearances during the popular production number "Friend Like Me."

Based on the 1992 Disney animated film, Aladdin opened at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre on March 20, 2014. The production stars original cast members Jacobs as Aladdin, Courtney Reed as Jasmine, Tony Award winner Iglehart as the Genie, and Tony nominee Jonathan Freeman as Jafar.

Featuring a score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Tim Rice with songs such as "Friend Like Me" and the Academy Award-winning "A Whole New World," Aladdin features a new book and additional lyrics by Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer).
