The Emmy nominated and Drama Desk Award-winning actor was most recently seen onstage in Broadway’s Once Upon a Mattress alongside Sutton Foster.

Other past Broadway credits include Spamalot, Chicken & Biscuits, Grand Horizons, Torch Song, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

He delighted audiences in the one-man show Buyer & Cellar, which earned him a Lortel and Drama Desk Award Off-Broadway, as well as in Homos, Or Everyone in America (Obie Award winner), The Temperamentals (Lortel & Drama Desk Award winner), Angels in America, and Red Bull Theater’s The Government Inspector.

He is the co-founder of Pride Plays, an annual LGBTQIA theater festival which took place in NYC and DC last month.

On the small screen, he can currently be seen in AppleTV+’s “Shrinking,” for which he won a Critics Choice Award earlier this year, and has since been nominated for an Emmy Award.

He’s also well known for his dynamic roles on “Ugly Betty” and “Younger;” and in the films Maestro, Single All the Way, and Goodrich.

He is a graduate of Juilliard.
