Curtis Holbrook, Alexis Kinney, Bob Thibaut Among Kevin Kline Award Winners

The seventh annual Kevin Kline Awards, honoring outstanding theater in the St. Louis area, were presented in a ceremony held on Monday, April 2.

Among the winners was Broadway veteran Curtis Holbrook, who received the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical award for his work in The Muny’s Singin’ in the Rain.

Additional acting winners included Gary Wayne Barker (The Immigrant), Peggy Billo (The Immigrant), Melinda Crown (Victor/Victoria), Brooke Edwards (Danny and the Deep Blue Sea), Alexis Kinney (The Secret Garden) Bob Thibaut (The Immigrant), Leigh Wakeford (Disney’s 101 Dalmatians)

Repertory Theatre of St. Louis’ Red and The New Jewish Theatre’s Awake and Sing! tied for Outstanding Production of a Play, while The Muny’s Singin’ in the Rain won for Outstanding Production of a Musical. Deanna Jent won the Outstanding New Play or Musical award for Falling.
