Tony and Emmy Award winner Lillias White (Fela!) is set to perform at this year's Bucks County Cabaret, a one-night-only concert produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The event will take place October 24 at the Bucks County Playhouse.

White's many Broadway engagements have included roles in Cats, Once on This Island, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Chicago, and Fela! In 1992, she won an Emmy Award for Sesame Street, and in 1997, she won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in Cy Coleman’s The Life. Next, she's set to star in Gotta Dance, which is scheduled to open later this year in Chicago.

In the three years Bucks County Cabaret has been produced by Broadway Cares, it has raised $459,500. The event is sponsored by the New York Times and United Airlines.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is an industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization. Since 1988 BC/EFA has raised more than $250 million for essential services for people with AIDS and other critical illnesses across the United States.
