The Lion King has released new photos of the production's North American tour. Currently running at the Hult Center in Eugene, Oregon, the production will play 16 additional cities this year. Check out photos from the road in the gallery below.
Directed by Julie Taymor, The Lion King features music by Elton John, lyrics by Tim Rice, a book by Roger Allers and Irene Mecchi, and choreography by Garth Fagan. The North American tour features Spencer Plachy as Scar, Gerald Ramsey as Mufasa, Buyi Zama as Rafiki, Nick Cordileone as Timon, Greg Jackson as Zazu, Ben Lipitz as Pumbaa, Jared Dixon as Simba, Nia Holloway as Nala, Keith Bennett as Banzai, Martina Sykes as Shenzi and Robbie Swift as Ed. The role of Young Simba alternates between Richard Phillips Jr. and Walter Russell III. The role of Young Nala alternates between Brilyn Johnston and Celina Smith.
The ensemble features Derek Adams, Kayla Rose Aimable, Andrew Arrington, William John Austin, Kyle R.
