Jersey Boys Announces Cast, Dates for Its 2018-19 Touring Season

Jersey Boys has announced the cast and tour dates for the 2018-19 touring season, its 13th.

The cast will be led by Jonny Wexler as Frankie Valli, Eric Chambliss as Bob Gaudio, Jonathan Cable as Nick Massi, and Corey Greenan as Tommy DeVito. The rest of the cast will include Ashley Bruce, Tony L. Clements, Rick Desloge, Wade Dooley, Todd DuBail, Caitlin Leary, Kevin Patrick Martin, Jeremy Sartin, Chloe Tiso, Kit Treece, and Jessica Wockenfuss.

This season's touring stops will include return engagements in Fayetteville and Little Rock, Arizona; Orlando, Florida; Raleigh, North Carolina; West Palm Beach, Florida; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Palm Desert, California; San Antonio and Fort Worth, Texas; Atlanta; North Charleston, South Carolina; and Providence, Rhode Island, among many others. Written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, and lyrics by Bob Crewe, Jersey Boys tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and includes dozens of their popular hits including "Walk Like a Man," "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)," and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You."

The show's Broadway production opened on November 6, 2005, after playing an out-of-town tryout run at the La Jolla Playhouse. It closed 11 years later on January 15, 2017. A film version directed by Clint Eastwood was released in 2014.

The show is currently playing off-Broadway at New World Stages. Like the Broadway production, the off-Broadway staging is directed by Des McAnuff and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo, with music supervision, vocal and dance arrangements and incidental music by Ron Melrose, and orchestrations by Steve Orich.
