Casting has been announced for the world premiere of Cornelia Street, which will begin preview performances at Atlantic Stage 2 on January 20 ahead of an official opening night on February 14. Performances are scheduled through February 26.

With a score by Mark Eitzel and a book by Simon Stephens (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time), Cornelia Street is described this way: "In a back street in the West Village, Jacob Towney tries to save the restaurant that has been his home for longer than he can remember and release his daughter to the life he dreams she can have. His place is a home for the odd ghosts of the Village. It is out of place and out of time and running out of luck."

Two-time Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz (Catch Me If You Can) stars as Jacob. He will be joined by George Abud (The Band's Visit), Esteban Andres Cruz (Halfway Bitches Go Straight to Heaven), Gizel Jiménez (Netflix's Tick, Tick… Boom!), Jordan Lage (American Buffalo), Kevyn Morrow (Moulin Rouge! The Musical), Mary Beth Peil (Anastasia), Lena Pepe (off-Broadway debut), and Ben Rosenfield (Mrs. America).

Atlantic Theater Company artistic director Neil Pepe helms the production, with choreography by Hope Boykin.

Cornelia Street will feature scenic design by Scott Pask, costume design by Linda Cho, lighting design by Stacey Derosier, sound design by Kai Harada, music direction by Chris Fenwick, and orchestrations by John Clancy. Antoine Silverman is the music contractor. Jennifer Rogers will serve as the production stage manager.
