The theater company Bedlam will present Cry Havoc!, a new solo show written and performed by Stephan Wolfert, at the New Ohio Theatre beginning March 15. The engagement, directed by Eric Tucker, runs through April 23.

Cry Havoc! is described as follows: "After six years in the army, Stephan Wolfert hopped off the Amtrak deep in the mountains of Montana and found himself at a performance of Richard III that would change his life forever. In this heartrending two-act, one-man show, Wolfert examines his own experience pre- and post-service, in the lines of some of Shakespeare’s most famous speeches. Through his own personal insights as he explores our societal neurosis of war, and questions, is there room for improvement in the way in which we reintegrate our Vets back into society? The military recruits citizens and trains them to kill, but what does the "de-cruit" process look like? How do we re-learn to live together?"

The work premiered in 2015 as part of Bedlam's one-act festival Man: Solo and has since been performed in Rome, Italy, and the Berkshires, among other locations across the country.
