Zoe Caldwell, Olympia Dukakis, John Guare, Marian Seldes, and Eli Wallach will take part in A Celebration of Tennessee Williams at 8pm on Monday, February 7 as part of the 92nd Street Y’s Unterberg Poetry Center’s 2010-2011 season.
Other highlights include members of Elevator Repair Service and the Public Theatre’s Oskar Eustis in An Evening of Gatsby (September 27, 8pm); singer Rosanne Cash reading from her new memoir, Composed (October 7, 8pm), and poet J.D. McClatchy and members of the Metropolitan Opera’s production of The Magic Flute in An Evening of Mozart (December 1, 8pm).
Authors to be hosted by the Center this season include Margaret Atwood, Jonathan Franzen, Ian Frazier, Carlos Fuentes, Lorrie Moore, Paul Muldoon, V.S. Naipaul, Joyce Carol Oates, Cynthia Ozick, and Salman Rushdie.
